just walking along, minding my own time,
just whistling a song, nothing on my mind,
I'm happy to say, I am on my way,
kicking cans and stones, nothing here today.
just messing around, nobody but me,
my time to spend, alone and so free,
just me and myself, running through my mind,
just walking along, squandering my time.
I knew a bloke a long long time ago,
he said he saw me take some things and go,
I had a car and was off down the motorway,
some dodgy deal, and thats the way the story went.
well, he's never far behind, while he looks I find,
myself on foreign shores, I left 'er indoors,
twenty grand's my share, I'll never go back there,
however long it takes, life in the sun awaits.
